Smiley Building Services was started in 2003 by Bassem El-Sokkary. Customers and colleagues have called him Smiley, or Baz, for as long as anyone can remember, and the name stuck to the business too. More than twenty years on, it’s still owner-run, still based in Croydon, and still gets most of its work through recommendations from homeowners in Croydon, Bromley, Beckenham and West Wickham.
What makes us different
The person who quotes your job is the person who runs it. Baz visits every site, measures up, sends the quote and then manages the build himself, so there’s no salesman making promises someone else has to keep. We’re not a sales office passing work to subcontractors. The team you meet at the start is the team that builds your project.
