If you are looking for quality, privilege and privacy and a place to live like royalty Dowen Hill Avenue is your place. The 7-bedroom new build structure put plenty of challenge and stress on Smiley Building Services. Due to the type of soil first footings must be to 15m depth with anti-heave system as some mature trees had been felled and the blue clay soil was raising the old house. We had to use the correct method to make the new house stable and us 75m steel beams with various sizes and a full steel roof structure. The project included the demolition of the existing 1950 four-bedroom house and replace with a new 7-bedroom modern house in 30 weeks. The design included of seven bedrooms each with ensuite. A large family bathroom fitted to a high specification with jacuzzi and bidet. The house also has a cinema room and on the ground floor a 600 litre marine fish tank. The beautiful open plan kitchen diner has a large lantern roof light on the top of a flat roof to make the most of the natural light. The accommodation also includes a large utility room and sauna room. The lounge has beautiful fire place and two aluminum bi- folding doors and windows, for access to the garden. The house has a sound system and under floor heating via a 300 litre Mega Flow boiler. Outside there is an extensive garage to accommodate two cars and three motorbikes. The house was finished with external smooth rendering.
