Horn Park Lane

Project:

Horn Park Lane

Horn Park Lane was not an easy project and a serious challenge as some mature trees has been cut and the blue clay soil was raising the house.

The project was to demolish a rear conservatory and build a 40m2 single rear extension to include three flat roof domes and refurbishment of all the ground floor include a MEGA FLOW boiler system. We had to ensure we used the correct method to make the new extension stable by digging the foundations to 2m depth and incorporating an anti-heave system. The extension required the removal of two load bearing walls and the inclusion of four steel beams designed by our structural engineer.

The work involved a new drainage system including a new manhole and soak way. Plastering the entire ground floor, all plumbing and fitting new heating radiators, rewiring all the ground floor. New skirting boards, architrave and internal doors. Two external ALUMINUM bi-folding doors and windows. We fitted a lovely ivory shaker kitchen including 2.4m by 1.2m island finished with a black quartz granite worktop. An18mm engineering oak floor was fitted on the top of under floor heating throughout the ground floor. Outside the large landscaped area was finished with external Indian stone and turf.
