Project:
Oakdene Avenue was a very successful project which took just 12 weeks. The project was the demolition of a rear conservatory and build of a 15m2 single rear extension to include two roof windows and refurbish the entire ground floor and fit a new combination boiler. The new extension necessitated the removal of two load bearing walls so it was necessary to fit two steel beams designed by our structural engineer.
The new accommodation includes a new open plan kitchen diner with slab fronted white gloss units and attractive and functional U-shaped breakfast bar with solid oak worktops. Underfloor heating throughout the ground floor with 18mm engineered oak floor fitted.
The work involved a new drainage system including a new man hole and soakaway for rain water. Plastering the entire ground floor, installing new plumbing and heating radiators for the ground floor.
rewiring all the ground floor, new joinery work, internal bi-folding doors and glass internal doors, 1.8m external French doors and windows. Landscaping the exterior with 25mm decking, stone and new turf.
