Builders in Chislehurst: Extensions, Refurbishments and New Builds

Contemporary new-build with glazed gable on Chislehurst Road

Chislehurst has some of the most handsome houses in the borough of Bromley, and a lot of them sit on generous plots. That makes it a great place to build, but it also means planners and neighbours rightly expect work to be done with care. We've built here for years, including a complete new house on Chislehurst Road.

What we do in Chislehurst

Respecting the area

Parts of Chislehurst are conservation areas, and there are plenty of protected trees. Both affect what you can build and how. We'll check the planning position before anything is designed, and where trees are close to the work we plan the foundations around them, often with deeper footings or an anti-heave system on the local clay.

Built to last

On our Chislehurst Road job we demolished a 1960s house and built a four-bedroom home with an en-suite to every bedroom, a luxury family bathroom, an open-plan kitchen-diner, underfloor heating and aluminium bi-folds onto a landscaped garden. It took 24 weeks. The footings, steel sizes and roof structure all needed careful thought, which is exactly the part of a project we enjoy.
