Orpington is a good patch for us. There's a lot of 1930s semi-detached housing, plenty of chalet bungalows and a fair few post-war detached houses, and almost all of them have room to grow. We regularly get asked to extend, convert or refurbish homes across BR5 and BR6, from Petts Wood down to Green Street Green.
What we build in Orpington
- Single and double-storey extensions, usually built around a new kitchen
- Loft conversions, including hip-to-gable conversions, which suit a lot of Orpington semis
- Garage conversions into offices, playrooms or bedrooms
- Whole-house refurbishments, like our eight-week job at Sandy Bury
- Kitchens, bathrooms and structural alterations
How we work
Every job starts with a free site visit. Baz comes out, looks at the house properly, talks through what's possible and what isn't, and then sends a fixed-price quote broken down by trade. If the job needs planning or building regulations approval, we sort that out with Bromley Council or an approved inspector. During the build Baz is on site himself, so the person who quoted the job is the person checking it's done right.
Why people pick us
What we offer is a properly run job: turning up when we say, keeping the site tidy, and not hitting you with surprise extras halfway through. That's why we're rated 4.8 on Google and why so much of our work comes from recommendations.
